The Airport Festival in Zurich: A Celebration of Aviation

From September 1 to 3, 2023, Zurich Airport will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a three-day airport festival. With its multitude of activities and attractions, it not only offers entertainment for airport fans, but is also a great complement to seminars and conferences at The Circle.

An impressive aviation exhibition with exciting exhibits from the past to the future of aviation awaits you on an area of around 60,000 m². For the first time, the soundproof hall will also be open to the public.

The event offers a variety of highlights for all age groups. For example, you can experience flights of fancy on the chain carousel on the sky platform in the park or have fun on numerous other attractions.

On Friday and Sunday afternoon, there will be a spectacular air show by the Patrouille Suisse together with Helvetic Airways. On Saturday, take the opportunity to meet the Patrouille Suisse pilots on site and collect autographs.

Various food trucks, barbecue stands and a marquee offering delicacies from near and far will cater for your physical well-being. On Saturday, the Zurich Airport Orchestra and Luca Hänni will provide a musical highlight on the show stage.

For all early risers, there will be a spotter brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on spectator terrace B. Here, you’ll enjoy a sumptuous brunch buffet with a view of the apron and live commentary on flight operations.

So whether you’re planning a meeting at The Circle or are simply a fan of airplanes and airports, the Zurich Airport Festival is the perfect opportunity to combine work and pleasure and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
